MORE THAN 500 8TH GRADERS WERE INSPIRED BY A FANTASTIC

PANEL OF PROFESSIONALS AT HICKSVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL

Career Day Inc. returned to Hicksville Middle School for a second consecutive program this year. After a wonderful Virtual program back in May, we had a second Panel Style Assembly Program in-person where more than 500 students listened to five outstanding professionals, including the Principal, Mara Goldman-Jorisch.

Students were also inspired by the stories of Matthew Pomara, founder of Ark Technology Companies, Inc. and a tech expert with more than 16 years in the industry; Michael Goldberg, founder of Walkalongside and business leader; Deepika Cattry, a pharma expertise with a strong knowledge of oncology and physiology; and Noreen Brittenham, the Director of ArtWORKS program in Computer Graphics and Digital Design at Spirit of Huntington.

MEET THE SPEAKERS

Former executive director of Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is the founder of Walkalongside Leader, Inc. Mr. Goldberg is a health system strategist, business leader, professor, philanthropist, community health & wellness advocate, speaker, and mentor.

Health and Finance Industry

Innovative Professional with specialization in academic and health-care setting. Broad pharma expertise across clinical research, analytics, R&D, and commercial. Strong scientific knowledge of oncology and physiology. STEM Advocate and believer in paying it forward in the local communities!

Director of ArtWORKS program in Computer Graphics and Digital Design, supporting client companies working with Spirit of Huntington account services and production team.

Co-Founder and Vice President at Ark Technology Companies, Inc. More than 16 years in the industry. Matthew brings innovative, impactful, and thought-provoking solutions to the education landscape for the betterment of the student experience.
