Career Day Inc. returned to West Hempstead Secondary School on October 13th, 2023, to kick off the 2023-2024 school year. Following two spectacular programs in 2019 and Spring 2023, this event brought together more than 45 speakers to inspire over 650 students.

The program opened with two exceptional keynote speakers, Renee Daniel Flagler and Josh York, who set an inspiring tone for the day. Following the keynotes, students moved to 45 different classrooms to hear professionals discuss careers in healthcare, business, law, engineering, trades, and more.

As the day drew to a close, a special luncheon provided an opportunity for speakers and senior students to connect and interact. It was a time for reflection, networking, and building connections that will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the students’ lives.

We are immensely grateful for the overwhelmingly positive feedback from teachers, administrators, and students alike. Their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the event were truly inspiring.

Good Morning America 3 joined us to capture the day’s events, from the keynote speeches to the networking luncheon. They recorded most of the program and featured a short segment on their November 2nd broadcast.

This incredible event not only inspired students but also showcased the power of community and mentorship, highlighting Career Day Inc.’s commitment to shaping future leaders.
